Profile: A law firm is seeking a Lateral Associate Attorney with 3-6 years of experience in employment matters related to corporate transactions to join its Employment, Executive Compensation & Benefits practice group in Boston. This position offers the opportunity to work with private equity clients and strategic investors on various employment issues.

Location: Boston

Duties:

  • Handle employment aspects of transactions involving private equity and strategic investors.
  • Draft and negotiate employment agreements, offer letters, separation agreements, and restrictive covenant agreements.
  • Conduct legal research to ensure compliance with applicable state laws.
  • Advise clients on structuring transactions and market practices regarding employment issues.
  • Participate in due diligence calls and negotiate transaction documents.
  • Analyze legal and factual backgrounds of disputes and litigation matters.
  • Assist in developing case strategy and preparing court and agency filings.

Requirements:
