Arthur, Chapman, Kettering, Smetak & Pikala, P.A. is seeking an associate attorney to join our growing Construction Practice Group. You’ll handle complex construction matters alongside a collaborative team committed to excellent client service, professional growth, and an engaging work environment.

What we’re looking for

• Four or more years of construction litigation experience preferred; other relevant construction-related legal experience may be considered.
• Active member in good standing of the Minnesota State Bar.
• Strong writing skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Collaborative approach, sound judgment, and a strong work ethic.

The full-time base salary range is $110,000–$130,000, based on relevant experience, portable business, and qualifications. Associates may also earn compensation through four distinct bonus programs: an Early-Year Momentum bonus, quarterly cumulative billable-hour bonuses, a tiered annual bonus for hours exceeding the 1,700-hour commitment, and a discretionary year-end bonus recognizing exceptional contributions such as origination, client relationships, marketing, firm service, and mentorship. Together, these opportunities can represent a significant portion of total compensation.

Full-time associates have a 1,700-hour annual billable expectation. We offer hybrid flexibility, comprehensive benefits, and partnership-track opportunities. Qualified attorneys seeking part-time arrangements will be considered.
