Job summary

Old Mission Capital LLC in Chicago seeks experienced C++ Software Engineers to build and optimize our automated trading infrastructure and work with Traders and Quants on next-gen strategies. You will help develop scalable, multi-tiered applications and collaborate in small teams to drive firm success.

We value deep systems programming, low-latency design, and strong Linux and networking knowledge, with a focus on robust, high-performance software for financial markets.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years in C++ with high availability and latency constraints.
• C++11/14/17/20, Linux, Python, and Bash scripting experience.
• Strong Linux kernel and systems programming knowledge.
• Experience with exchange APIs or network protocols.
• Parallel, concurrent, and multi-threaded programming experience.
• Experience with Git, SVN, Mercurial.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize our automated trading infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Traders and Quants to develop trading algorithms.
• Develop scalable multi-tiered applications and contribute to a team-based environment.
