Job summary

Clarke Vehicare is seeking a Diesel/Auto Technician in Los Angeles who starts at 10:00am. The role offers pay up to $38 per hour depending on experience. You will repair and maintain light and medium-duty customer vehicles in a dedicated shop, with some heavier Class 8-9 work, and beneficial MHE experience.

Qualifications include 5+ years with medium-duty trucks, strong diagnostics, own tools, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. CDL or higher is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience working with medium-duty trucks.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills in engines, brakes, electrical, and suspension systems.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills for diagnostics and work order entry.
• Must have own tools.

Responsibilities

• Record repairs using smartphone, laptop, and tablet technology.
• Repair and maintain light & medium duty customer vehicles in a dedicated shop.
• Handle some heavier Class 8-9 vehicles.
• MHE experience (electric) would be helpful.
• Standard tech-owned tools required; major shop tools and diagnostic equipment provided.
