Lockton Companies is seeking a Treaty Reinsurance Associate for the Latin America & Caribbean region in Miami, FL. The role offers a hands-on onboarding experience across client relations, technical service, and project management within a growing start-up division.

Qualifications

• 3-5 Year Experience in a commercial (re)insurance environment.
• Relationship-driven industry experience and interaction with customers, reinsurers and colleagues.
• Numerically literate with ability to reason with numbers.
• Collaborative and team-oriented; reinsurance broking requires teamwork.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to tell a clear story.

Responsibilities

• Assist the broking team in the production, design, analysis and administration of reinsurance programs for client partners.
• Prepare submissions, obtain quotations, and represent clients in the reinsurance marketplace.
• Handle and maintain files, negotiate contract subjectivities and other open items.
• Liaise with clients and reinsurance markets for day-to-day inquiries.
• Collaborate with Analytics and Cat modelling teams on treaty-related technical matters.
