Job summary

You will lead external scientific affairs, mentor the team, and translate complex toxicology concepts into clear messages for regulators, industry groups and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• PhD in Toxicology or related discipline preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of senior experience applying toxicology and risk assessment in relevant industries.
• Ability to influence through trade associations, scientific bodies, and external stakeholder forums.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior toxicology expert for NA and LATAM across ingredients, packaging, contaminants, pesticides, and product safety.
• Lead external scientific affairs and advocacy strategies across the Americas; translate toxicology into credible messages for external stakeholders.
• Develop strategies enabling innovation with new ingredients and technologies while ensuring consumer safety and regulatory readiness.
• Deliver post-market support with rapid, balanced scientific assessments for issue management.
• Coordinate regional/global scientific affairs strategies and horizon scanning for emerging issues.
