Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Accountant (LATAM) based in Hawthorne, CA. The role focuses on supporting Latin America operations, coordinating month-end close for Starlink subsidiaries, and ensuring compliance with US GAAP and international standards for multiple jurisdictions.

Candidates should have 4+ years of accounting experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and bilingual Spanish/English communication. On-site work is required, with a comprehensive compensation package including incentives and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience with US GAAP and international accounting standards (IFRS or other local accounting standards).
• Experience with MS Dynamics 365 or other ERP accounting systems.
• Ability to analyze high volumes of transactions with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support Latin America operations in multinational environments.
• Participate in the accounting close process for Starlink subsidiaries.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and currency translations as required.
• Coordinate international statutory filings and bridging to US GAAP.
• Assist with external audits and special projects.
