Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a self-starting Security Researcher to join our Counter Adversary Operations Team. You will track Latam-language eCrime actors and collect actionable OSINT across diverse environments, including dark web and social channels.

The role emphasizes OPSEC and interdisciplinary collaboration to deliver finished intelligence products for customers. The candidate should be proficient in Spanish/Portuguese with strong OSINT experience, able to manage multiple tasks under tight

Qualifications

• Language capabilities including, but not limited to, Spanish and Portuguese.
• Experience conducting OSINT investigations using Latam-language skills.
• Experience navigating a wide variety of cyber threat actor environments.
• Familiarity with a wide variety of eCrime groups generally.
• Practical knowledge of technical terminology, tools, and tactics employed by eCrime actors, particularly Latam-language actors.
• Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making and streamline workflows.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and identify creative solutions to difficult problems.
• Ability to work as part of a team, as well as self-motivation to collect independently.

Responsibilities

• Collect unique, relevant actionable information to answer established standing and ad hoc requirements related to eCrime actors, especially Latam-language eCrime actors.
• Leverage engagement skills and OSINT tradecraft to follow up on leads and identify eCrime threat actors and track them in various online communities.
• Identify current and emerging cyber threats and trends pertaining to eCrime threat actors, including technical information with a special focus around Latam-language eCrime actors.
• Collaborate with teams producing analytical reports and threat estimates pertaining to eCrime topics, especially Latam language threat actors.
• Employ secure virtual operational tradecraft methods and practices.
