Job summary

Insight Global’s client seeks a Media Specialist I to join the Content Operations Team. You will ensure all content meets Pluto TV's delivery specs, overseeing ingest, QC and transcode of assets for distribution on our service. Proficiency with video/audio formats and captioning is essential.

Role focuses on content prep and coordinating schedules for distribution platforms, ensuring parity and timely delivery across services.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in new media, video, or interactive consumer entertainment products.
• Proficient on Mac and PC platforms.
• Familiar with MS Office, Google Drive, MAM, and CMS.
• Ability to read JSON files/feeds/searches.
• Experience with Atlassian Suite (Kanban/JIRA).

Our client is seeking a Media Specialist I to join our Content Operations Team. This role will be responsible for ensuring all content meets Pluto TV's delivery specifications; overseeing the ingest, QC and transcode of such assets into our content systems for distribution on our service. The appropriate candidate must effectively demonstrate technical proficiency in working with various video, audio and captioning formats that support online media distribution. In this role, success is fostered by an ability to manage tools, resources, and time to evaluate and process media in alignment with distribution priorities. This role will be heavily focused on content prep but will also be responsible for coordinating the content schedules for distribution platforms ensuring parity across the various platform

Skills and Requirements

• 3+ years' experience in a professional setting for new media, audio, video and/or interactive consumerentertainment products, preferably in a video delivery environment.
• BA degree in TV/Film production or related discipline preferred.
• Proficient working on both Mac and PC platforms
• Strong knowledge of administrative software applications: MS Office Applications, (i.e., MS Word, MS Outlook,MS Excel; Google Drive; MAM; CMS
• Ability to read JSON files/feeds/searches
• Experience with Atlassian Suite - Kanban/JIRA
