Job summary

Palapa Logistics LLC is seeking a Last-Mile Delivery Associate Driver to perform customer-facing deliveries using a company-provided vehicle. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and the ability to handle 200–250+ packages daily across diverse routes from our Staten Island service area.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work legally in the U.S.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Driver's License (Required).
• Clean driving record with no recent violations or accidents.
• Driving experience is required (2 years preferred).
• English language proficiency (Required).
• Ability to Commute: Staten Island (Required).
• Work Location: On the road, serving our delivery areas.
• Ability to work day shifts and adapt to a flexible schedule.
• Full-time availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate company delivery vehicles safely, strictly adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Ensure proper handling and secure delivery of all parcels and sensitive materials.
• Deliver 200-250+ packages daily, managing your route effectively.
• Use and maintain delivery equipment, including handheld devices for routing and customer delivery info.
• Maintain logs of working hours, vehicle mileage, and cargo information.
• Adhere to all company and industry regulations and policies.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle.
• Report any mechanical issues, accidents, or traffic violations promptly.
• Keep customers updated on delivery schedule and delays.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel.
