Job summary

Eye Candy MedSpa and Lash Bar in Newport Beach is seeking a skilled lash artist to take over an established book of regular clients. This is not a build-your-own-book role; you will step into pre-booked clientele with room to grow.

Our front desk handles bookings, reminders, and payments, all lash supplies are provided, and you’ll work under W2 employment with room for advancement as the schedule expands across three locations.

Qualifications

• CA esthetician or cosmetology license valid in CA.
• 2+ years professional lash extension experience.
• Proficient in classic, hybrid, and volume lash techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform classic, hybrid, volume, and mega volume lash sets.
• Conduct lash lifts and tints (a plus).
• Advise on eye shape and lash health; schedule refills.
• Maintain client retainers and keep bookings.
• Follow California sanitation standards and keep client records.

Pay: $200–$500 per day (50% commission on service sales, plus tips). W2 employee position (x2).

About the Opportunity

Our Newport Beach lash artist is relocating overseas, and her loyal, established clientele needs someone great to take over. This is not a "build your clientele from zero" job. You step into a book of regulars who already rebook with us, with a schedule that starts full and grows from there. We also are growing so we are interviewing to fill 2 artist positions.

What You'll Do

• Classic, hybrid, volume, and mega volume sets and fills
• Lash lifts and tints (a plus)
• Consult on eye shape and lash health, and set each client's refill schedule
• Keep your book rebooked; retention drives your income
• Follow California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology sanitation standards and keep client records current

Schedule

• Saturday OR Sunday required (both preferred). Studio hours: Saturday 10am–7pm, Sunday 10am–6pm.
• Weekday flexibility depending on weekend availability.

Requirements

• Current California esthetician or cosmetology license
• 2+ years of professional lash extension experience
• Confident with classic, hybrid, and volume work, including handmade fans
• Reliable, punctual, and focused on keeping clients
