Job summary

A leading manufacturer of precision metal components in Lake Geneva is currently seeking Laser Welding Technicians for 1st and 2nd/3rd shifts. The role involves operating laser welding machines, ensuring quality, and maintaining production schedules. Ideal candidates will possess good mechanical aptitude, organizational and communication skills, and the ability to follow procedures in a manufacturing setting. Previous experience in laser welding or assembly is preferred. A competitive salary and an attractive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum educational requirements may be substituted by relevant experience, learned competencies and/or certifications obtained throughout one’s career.
• 1-2 years of experience laser welding or assembly preferred.
• Experience with automated welding equipment desired but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Operate laser welding machines producing high-quality products.
• Maintain efficiencies at established rates for each operation.
• Verify conformance of finished work to quality specifications.
• Ensure accuracy on all assigned jobs while meeting production schedules.
• Communicate production issues to Engineers or Lead.
• Comply with all safety procedures and company policies.

Education

High School diploma or GED equivalent
