Job summary

Advanced Integration Technology is seeking a Tool and Laser Install Technician to operate laser tracker equipment and complete day-to-day tool building projects meeting quality standards and customer specifications. You will inspect, test, and verify accuracy using laser trackers and coordinate with engineering to fabricate jigs, fixtures, and master tooling.

This role requires GD&T proficiency, data analysis, and readiness for travel to customer sites, with safety and quality policies

Qualifications

• Associates degree or technical accreditation required.
• Minimum 3 years experience with laser trackers, model-based metrology, data analysis and report generation.
• 7+ years experience with laser trackers in lieu of education.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and verify accuracy of assembled articles using measuring equipment or visual inspection.
• Determine fabrication and assembly methods; complete final setup and sell-off.
• Demonstrate understanding of optical equipment and laser trackers.
• Fabricate optical and mechanical accessories to adapt and modify instruments.
• Construct major jigs, fixtures, tool masters, and related tooling.
• Perform in-process and final inspections per customer requirements.
• Measure and mark reference features to specifications.
• Prepare breakdown of jigs, fixtures, tool masters into components.
• Handle tasks from basic operations to high-precision work.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
