Job summary

Best Military Resume is seeking an inspector with experience operating Leica or Faro laser trackers to verify parts against drawings and CAD data. You will create inspection programs and reports using SpatialAnalyzer and provide real-time data to support alignment and accuracy in manufacturing.

Responsibilities include marking parts for finish-machining, identifying deviations, and supporting root-cause investigations while performing routine equipment checks.

Qualifications

• Operate Leica or Faro laser trackers to verify parts against drawings.
• Create inspection programs and reports from CAD data using SpatialAnalyzer.
• Provide real-time inspection data to subassembly personnel for alignment and final accuracy.
• Mark up parts for finish-machining per routing; identify deviations and non-conforming reports.

Responsibilities

• Verify conformity of manufactured and purchased parts to engineering drawings and CAD specifications.
• Prepare inspection data and reports for internal teams and quality records.
• Support root-cause investigations by identifying deviations and non-conforming conditions.
• Perform basic maintenance and field checks on laser tracker equipment as specified by the manufacturer.
