Keel is seeking a Laser Track Trainee in Goose Creek, SC to support dimensional inspection and learn metrology skills using portable laser tracking systems. This entry-level role assists technicians with production, tooling verification, and quality assurance under direct supervision.

You will gain hands-on experience in laser tracker setup, measurement data collection, fixture verification, and basic inspection reporting while following safety standards and metrology procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, quality, or inspection helpful but not required.
• Basic understanding of measurements and willingness to learn blueprint reading.
• Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing fundamentals is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and breakdown of laser tracker equipment.
• Operate laser tracker systems under supervision as you learn.
• Support basic part inspections and measurement data collection.
• Verify fixture and tooling dimensions.
• Record data and prepare simple inspection reports.
