Qualifikationen

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to read or learn to read mechanical drawings and blueprints.
• Basic computer and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness and ability to learn advanced precision measurement technology.
• Experience in machining, mechanical assembly, fabrication, dimensional inspection, or Quality Control is preferred.
• Experience with laser trackers, CMMs, portable measurement arms, or similar equipment is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Train in the setup, operation, and care of laser tracker equipment.
• Assist with precision measurement and alignment of industrial machinery.
• Inspect machined, fabricated, and purchased components against engineering drawings.
• Use calipers, micrometers, indicators, height gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, dimensions, and tolerances.
• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
• Document inspection results and identify nonconforming parts.
• Communicate quality concerns with manufacturing, engineering, and supervision.
• Support production and other departments as workload allows.
