Job summary

Aerotek in Buffalo, NY is hiring Laser Technician specialists to travel nationwide, operate laser trackers, scan arms, and CMM equipment, and perform precision measurements and inspections. This is a permanent, on-site role with extensive hands-on training and clear growth into project management and leadership positions.

You will read blueprints with GD&T, collect and analyze measurement data, and communicate results to customers while traveling.

Work with advanced laser measurement technology while traveling to major manufacturing and power generation facilities across the country. Receive hands‑on training, build relationships with industry leaders, and develop into future project management and leadership roles.

What You'll Do

• Travel to customer sites throughout the U.S.

• Operate laser trackers, scan arms, and CMM equipment

• Perform precision measurements, alignments, and inspections

• Support reverse engineering and 3D modeling projects

• Read blueprints and apply GD&T principles

• Collect, analyze, and communicate measurement data

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Buffalo, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $105000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
