Confluent Medical Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Laser Equipment Technician II for our Fremont, CA Day Shift Laser Operations Team. The role focuses on safety, laser system troubleshooting, and precise equipment setup for manufacturing lots.

You will document processes and report progress to the team. Candidates should have a high school diploma with 3+ years related experience or an Associate degree in laser technology preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with a minimum of 3 years of related work experience or equivalent
• Associate degree in laser technology is a plus
• Intimate knowledge of laser alignment, equipment usage and safety

Responsibilities

• Advocate for safety in the laser production area
• Troubleshoot laser systems (engine, motion, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic components)
• Set up laser systems for manufacturing lots by following work instructions and procedures
• Maintain process documentation and report system status and project progress
• Assist in keeping spare components and consumables stocked in the laser stock room
