Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East in Conway, AR is seeking a Laser Operator to set up and run laser cutting, stamping, and profile equipment in person. Night shift is required and candidates must be able to operate forklift and perform quality inspections.

The position requires at least 1 year of manufacturing and 1 year of laser operator experience, with safety and quality system training preferred. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• 1 year of laser operator experience.
• Training in general safety, electrostatic discharge awareness, foreign object damage, awareness and quality system awareness.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate laser cutting, stamping, punching, and other profile equipment according to specifications.
• Select proper cutting programs and fixtures.
• Establish proper stop location and adjust laser beam focal point.
• Make proper set-ups for cutting operations.
• Perform prescribed maintenance as required.
• Perform all dimensional inspections.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisor.
• Operate a forklift.
• May perform other production tasks as needed.
