Confluent Medical Technologies is seeking a Laser Engineer II to advance laser and mechanical process development from prototype to sustained manufacturing validation. You will plan engineering activities and support standard production and new product development, including laser cutting and welding process development.

Qualifications

• BS degree in mechanical engineering/physics or related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in process development and/or laser processing.
• Medical device manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Process Engineering Manager, be responsible for laser and mechanical process development from prototypes to manufacturing validation.
• Plan and coordinate engineering activities, studies, and programs in support of standard production and new product development.
• Handle process implementation for laser cutting, laser welding, and deburring small medical components.
