Job summary

TP Engineering Services, LLC in Poway, CA, seeks a technician to provide assembly, integration, alignment, and test support for cutting-edge laser and electro-optical systems. You will manage schedules and priorities with minimal daily direction to meet mid to long-term objectives.

The role involves receiving, inspecting, installing, aligning, and integrating optics and optics/mechanics (COTS and custom). Thermal management system assembly and testing, plus facility support including clean rooms

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years professional experience working with laser, optical or mechanical systems.
• US citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience documenting technical work and presenting data.
• Operate with a safety first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage schedule and priorities with minimal daily direction to meet mid to long-term schedule-objective.
• Receive, Inspect, Install, align, and integrate optics, electro-optics, and mechanics (combination of COTS & customs mechanics & optics).
• Thermal management systems assembly and testing.
• Additional duties related to facility support (clean rooms, chillers, occasional travel to support testing at customer sites).
