Job summary

eTeam in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Technical Coordinator for the day shift (8am - 4:30pm) to join a fast-paced optics manufacturing team. The role focuses on assembling optics, performing laser alignment, and running automated test sequences on ROC laser systems.

Candidates will operate wavefront measuring devices, optical power meters, and oscilloscopes, perform fiber coupling to maximize throughput, and conduct cosmetic/cleanliness inspections with a UV light source.

Qualifications

• 5 - 7 years’ experience assembling, testing and packaging laser related products.
• Ability to work inside a cleanroom environment.
• Ability to lift approximately 30-35 lbs.
• Ability to work individually in a team setting with other technicians and engineers.
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and manage changing priorities.
• Can read and follow written and verbal English work instructions and communicate effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble optical subassemblies for use in laser systems.
• Perform laser alignment processes and manipulate laser beams through optical components.
• Operate laser and optical equipment such as wavefront measuring devices, optical power meters, and oscilloscopes.
• Run laser systems through automated test sequences and perform fiber coupling to maximize power throughput.
• Troubleshoot laser systems when tests fail and repair as needed.
• Perform cosmetic and cleanliness inspection of laser systems using a UV light source.
• Communicate effectively with team members and follow English work instructions.
• Use Word and Excel to track and store production/inspection data.
