Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and diagrams.
• Attention to detail and good communication skills.
• Knowledge of material gauge and type; safety training and quality awareness.

Responsibilities

• Loads materials into laser cutting machine, setting up cutting parameters.
• Selects proper cutting programs, materials and fixtures.
• Racks and restocks metal.
• Makes proper set-ups for cutting operations.
• Detects and reports defective materials to supervisor.
• Maintains cleanliness and performs routine maintenance.
• Maintains reliable attendance and flexibility for schedule changes.
• Follows safety procedures and uses PPE.
• Works effectively as a team member and communicates status transparently.
• Takes ownership of work and accountability for actions.
• Follows department quality standards and raises concerns when needed.
• Other duties as required.
