DeGeest Corporation is seeking a Laser Operator to join our team in Tea, SD. The role focuses on laser cutting, part preparation, and supporting downstream welding and fabrication workflows, with 7:00 am - 3:30 pm hours and overtime availability.

Responsibilities include operating laser and fabrication equipment, preparing parts, staging materials for welding, and basic maintenance. Candidates should have a HS diploma and manufacturing experience; strong attention to detail and safety are

Qualifications

• Performing basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
• Operating forklifts to move materials and load/unload trucks.
• Ensuring parts are accurately prepared and delivered to the next stage of production.

The Laser Operator plays a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient production of metal parts by preparing materials and supporting downstream welding and fabrication processes. This position focuses on laser cutting operations, part preparation, and general support of metal fabrication equipment and workflows.

Location: Tea, SD (right off I-29)
Work Hours: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday - Friday (overtime is available as well)
Pay: Depending on Experience

Key Responsibilities

• Operating laser cutting and other fabrication equipment (brake press, benders, etc.)
• Preparing parts through cutting, grinding, and drilling

Physical Requirements
