Pen Manufacturing is seeking a Laser Operator (2nd Shift) in Anaheim, CA. You will operate high-precision laser cutting equipment to produce components used in aerospace, construction and water infrastructure. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certification in machinery operation, CNC programming, or manufacturing is a plus.
• Prior experience with laser cutting machinery, CNC equipment, or similar roles is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up laser cutting machines based on work orders, blueprints and technical specs.
• Operate laser cutting machines to cut parts from metal, plastics and other materials.
• Monitor laser equipment performance and adjust laser power, speed and focus to optimize results and reduce waste.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical or operational issues to minimize downtime.
• Inspect parts with precision measuring tools and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers and production teams to ensure smooth production processes.
• Follow safety protocols and keep a clean, organized work area.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Set Up for Success : Configure laser cutting machines based on detailed work orders, blueprints, and technical specifications, ensuring precise setup and calibration.
• Operate with Precision : Run laser cutting machines to create parts from metal, plastics, and other materials, making sure each cut aligns with strict project requirements.
• Monitor and Optimize : Continuously monitor the performance of the laser equipment, adjusting settings such as laser power, speed, and focus to ensure optimal results and minimal material waste.
• Troubleshoot and Resolve : Quickly address any technical or operational issues to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
• Inspect and Ensure Quality : Use precision measuring tools to inspect parts and ensure they meet quality standards, making any necessary adjustments before proceeding to the next phase.
• Collaborate for Success : Work closely with engineers, designers, and production teams to ensure smooth production processes and timely completion of projects.
