Job summary

Hitachi Global Air Power US, LLC in Michigan City, Indiana, seeks a Laser Operator with 3–5 years of sheet metal laser experience to set up, troubleshoot, and run Amada laser systems. You will handle cutting conditions, tool adjustments and nesting while ensuring safe, on-time production and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience with laser programming and nesting is a plus.

• Computer skills required (i.e., spreadsheets, data entry, email).
• Ability to use precision measurement devices to work within tight tolerances.
• Ability to work with cranes, sharp edges on machined parts, and moving parts by carts.
