Qualifications

• 2-3 Jahre Erfahrung im Betrieb eines Lasers in einer Produktionsumgebung von Vorteil.

• Betrieb und Anpassung des Lasers zur Bearbeitung von Stahlblechen.

JOB SUMMARY:

To ensure that products processed from the lasers meet customer specifications and are prepared for additional processes.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES, QUALIFICATIONS, AND BASIC SKILL LEVELS:

• High School education or equivalent.
• Strong industrial math skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn tasks and follow directions, including use of measurement equipment.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Successful completion of Pre-Employment physical.
• 2-3 years experience operating a laser in a production environment is a plus.
• Regular and predictable attendance is required.

Class C Operator Responsibilities:

• Operate and adjust stand-alone laser to cut single or multiple pieces from sheet steel.
• Remove cut products from sheet steel and sort for processing or inventory.
• Review shop orders, blueprints, and inspection records to determine process requirements.
• Examine and measure product to verify conformance to specifications using measurement equipment.
• Comply with policies, processes, and systems of the ISO quality management system.
• Support a safe work environment as outlined in the safety manual.
• Load and adjust laser programs.
• Troubleshoot stand-alone lasers.
