Job summary

Synergy Manufacturing Group in Clinton Township, MI, is seeking a motivated 3-Axis Laser Cutting Operator to join a fast-paced, quality-driven team. You will set up and operate CNC laser cutters, read blueprints, and inspect parts using precision measuring tools.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, reliable attendance, and willingness to work overtime. The position offers competitive wages based on experience, paid vacation/holidays, and a 401K with a 4% match, with full-time

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC laser cutting equipment (Mazak or Mitsubishi experience is a strong asset).
• Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing drawings.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Reliable attendance and a positive team attitude.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 3-axis laser cutting machines (Mazak and Mitsubishi preferred).
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings.
• Load raw material and unload finished parts safely and efficiently.
• Perform quality inspections using measuring instruments.
• Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments.
• Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate records.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and keep equipment clean.
• Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures.
• Keep material logged and organized.
