Job summary

PPS-HPS is seeking a CNC Laser Operator to join our family-owned sheet metal fabrication shop in Bedford, Ohio. In this full-time role, you will operate fiber-optic laser cutting machines, capable of cutting various metals up to ¾” thick. This position offers significant opportunities for growth and includes benefits like profit sharing bonus eligibility.

The ideal candidate will have experience with laser cutting machines, CNC programming, and be able to read blueprints. Familiarity with Mitsubishi machines is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate fiber-optic laser cutting machines for production.
• Cut metals up to ¾” thick using laser technology.
• Read blueprints to ensure precision in cutting.

Job description

PPS is currently seeking a CNC Laser Operator for our family-owned Sheet Metal Fabrication Shop in Bedford. Laser Operators use two fiber-optic laser cutting machines for everyday production. Machines can cut up to ¾” thick metal and have cutting tables that measure 60” X 120”. Most commonly used metals are 3003,5052, 6061 aluminum, steel, 303, 304, and 316 stainless steel.

This is a full-time permanent position with benefits including profit sharing bonus eligibility and a high ceiling for growth!
