Job summary

Columbus Aesthetic & Plastic Surgery (CAPS) is seeking Laser NPs to join our evergreen talent community in Columbus, OH. This opportunity allows qualified clinicians to express interest for current or future openings as our practice grows, with collaboration across multiple high-end locations.

Qualifications

• Current NP license to practice in Ohio.
• Experience performing aesthetic and medical laser treatments.
• Experience with Scioton lasers preferred.
• Strong patient care and communication, empathy with staff and patients.
• Advanced computer proficiency, including electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for elective cosmetic laser procedures under physician supervision.
• Escort patients, obtain health histories, and document treatment plans.
• Review charts and ensure quality standards meet guidelines.
• Maintain treatment rooms per OSHA standards.
• Coordinate treatment plans, follow-ups, and rebooking.
• Complete patient charting accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Director and COO on department needs.
• Engage with vendors for training and product knowledge.
• Participate in events and marketing objectives as needed.
• Monitor inventory and request supplies as needed.
• Attend team meetings to discuss goals.

Role Overview

Laser NPs support our patients in achieving their goals by providing elective care for cosmetic laser procedures and providing exceptional patient care in an environment that fosters trust, welcomes innovation, and provides the best possible patient experience.

Responsibilities Can Include:

• Provides direct patient care as a representative of CAPS, treating each patient in a style and manner developed by the supervising physician and practice that is consistent with authorized practices as defined by state law.
• Escort patients to treatment room, obtain medical and health history, obtain photographs.
• Reviews charts, treatment plans and case notes and verifies that these documents meet quality standards.
• Maintains treatment rooms and work areas in compliance with OSHA standards.
• Responsible for coordination of treatment plan, follow up and rebooking of their patients.
• Completes all patient charting – history, exam, and treatments plans – accurately and timely.
• Oversee any patient care concerns that may arise.
• Work with Ancillary Clinical Director and COO on clinical needs of department.
• Work with vendors for continued training and development and product knowledge.
• Participates in events and marketing objectives as needed.
• Notifies inventory of any supply needs or request.
• Attends team meetings as needed to discuss goals and objectives of department.

Qualifications & Experience

• Current NP License
• Experience performing aesthetic and medical laser treatments.
• Experience with Scioton lasers, preferred.
• Proven experience providing high quality of care to patients in an environment that fosters trust and builds relationships with open communication and empathy with staff and patients.
• Advanced computer proficiency, including experience with electronic health records.
• Works independently with minimal supervision.
