Job summary

Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. in Ohio is seeking a motivated production teammate to assist on the line, perform basic machine tasks, and handle materials.

You will maintain cleanliness, follow safety rules, participate in shipping/receiving, inspect materials, and support maintenance. A high school diploma is preferred and prior manufacturing experience is helpful; the role includes physical demands typical of production work.

Qualifications

• Inspects materials for defects and reports any issues to supervisors or quality assurance.
• Collaborates with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Participates in basic maintenance of equipment and tools as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Some physical demand; often lifts light to heavy-weight material. Frequent lifting/moving average weight (up to 50 lbs/11-27 kgs) material.
• Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
• Ability to operate motorized vehicles over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
• Ability to stand and / or walk constantly over a full work shift on concrete (8-12 hours).
• May be exposed to noise levels for which hearing protection is required to be worn over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
