Job summary

Machitech Automation Inc. is seeking a Laser Field Technician to install CNC plasma machines across North America, train operators, and provide on-site technical support.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair equipment, and submit service reports while traveling regularly to customer sites in Canada and the United States. The role requires an engineering-related diploma, experience with plasma cutting and CNC systems is a plus, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English both spoken and written is required.
• Strong diagnostic abilities with industrial software.
• Experience with plasma cutting processes and CNC systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission CNC plasma machines across North America.
• Train operators and provide on-site technical support.
• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnose/repair equipment at customer sites.
• Adjust machines to production requirements and document service reports.
• Coordinate with internal teams and provide technical assistance as needed.
• Travel to customer sites and complete related tasks.
