Job summary

Avalign Technologies, Inc. in Greenwood, Indiana, seeks a Laser Etch/Engrave Operator on a 2nd shift to setup and operate a Laser Engraving machine for metal parts, following prints and work instructions.

You will create accurate engraving programs, maintain files, and perform quality checks using calipers and micrometers. Strong detail, math skills, and ability to follow written or diagrammed instructions are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of related experience and/or training.
• Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Mathematical skills to manage units of measure, fractions, decimals, and whole numbers.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate and efficient Laser Engraving Programs
• Maintain and manage all electronic files used for programming Laser Engraving equipment
• Work directly with the Engineering Department by obtaining the most accurate information available to clarify ambiguities
• Set up Laser Engraving machine in accordance with print specifications and work instructions to process parts
• Use inspection gauges such as calipers, micrometers, squares, and height gauges to perform quality checks

We are looking for a Laser Etch/ Engrave Operator to join our Greenwood, IN location on a 2nd shift schedule. You will set up and operate a Laser Engraving machine to engrave/etch metal parts.

What You’ll Do
