Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD in Science or Engineering required.
• Strong design experience with lasers and optical systems; fiber/UV lasers preferred.
• Hands-on experience with optical and electrical test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble optical/laser hardware and verify performance of components, equipment, and setups.
• Perform end-to-end alignment, characterization and testing on optical tables.
• Operate and maintain optical and test instrumentation; collect and analyze data.
• Provide reports and presentations of results.
• Train and assist internal personnel as needed.
