TRIMEDYNE INC in Phoenix, AZ seeks a skilled electro-optical technician to set up, align, build and test laser and optical assemblies from sub-assemblies to completed systems.
You will read drawings, follow procedures, troubleshoot lasers and electronics, and ensure quality while adhering to safety and documentation standards. Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity required; some lifting up to 50 pounds.

Job Summary: Under general supervision, perform set-up, alignment, build, inspection, operation and test of electro-optical, electro-mechanical, laser and optical assemblies, from small sub-assemblies to completed integrated systems, while adhering to applicable Quality Systems Procedures. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Employees are regularly exposed to risk of electrical shock and occasionally exposed to the risk of laser radiation. Employees occasionally work near moving mechanical parts and are occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
