Qualifications

• Proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD CAD/CAM software.
• Strong knowledge of machining processes, including laser cutting, press brakes, and hardware insertion.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and GD&T symbols.
• Excellent mathematical skills for calculations and measurements.
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to fabricate parts from raw materials using various machine tools.
• 1–3 years of relevant CAD/CAM, drafting, or laser programming experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize SolidWorks and AutoCAD to create laser-ready programs for fabrication.
• Understand and apply both 2D and 3D aspects of programming.
• Meet with clients to discuss laser cutting and fabrication needs.
• Generate quotes and job costing for client projects.
• Analyze blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the best machining methods.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and bore gauges.
