Job summary

Qualifications

• BSME, BSEE or BSCS minimum; MS preferred.
• 5+ years of test and assembly system development experience.
• Experience building tooling and assembly processes to sub-micron precision.
• Experience simulating and programming robot arms for assembly automation.
• Experience using vision systems to actively align laser systems.
• Writing LabVIEW apps to run assembly processes and collect data.
• Writing LabVIEW and Python apps to test with and calibrate sensing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design complex assembly stations with precise placement, active alignment, and beam metrology.
• Develop LabVIEW software to assemble, align and test laser systems.
• Calibrate and test lasers and laser measurement devices with LabVIEW and Python.
• Simulate and program robot arms for assembly automation.
• Collect and store data in a database and provide task cost estimates.
• Deliver tasks on schedule and participate in technical reviews.
