Job description

VocoVision is seeking an experienced School Psychologist to provide virtual assessment services to students in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Our remote psychological services help bridge the gap between student needs and professional expertise, providing accessible evaluation services regardless of location.

Position Details
  • 37.5 hours per week schedule
  • Mixed K-12 caseload across multiple virtual school settings
  • Comprehensive evaluation and consultation services
  • Report writing and virtual meeting participation
  • Support for multi-tiered systems of support implementation
Core Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations via secure virtual platform
  • Administer cognitive, academic, and social-emotional assessments remotely
  • Analyze and interpret assessment data to determine educational needs
  • Write detailed, actionable psychoeducational reports
  • Present evaluation findings at virtual eligibility and IEP meetings
  • Provide consultation to teachers and families regarding interventions
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on educational planning
  • Maintain compliance with all special education timelines and procedures
Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree or higher in School Psychology
  • Active New Mexico school psychologist license
  • Minimum 2 years of school-based psychology experience
  • Knowledge of New Mexico special education regulations
  • Experience with virtual assessment preferred but not required
  • Proficiency with various assessment instruments and scoring systems
  • Strong report writing and presentation skills
  • Excellent virtual communication and consultation abilities
