Job summary

City of McAllen is seeking a Lark Recreation Supervisor to assist in providing diversified recreation programs for youth and adults throughout the city. Under general supervision, you will help plan, develop, implement, and administer specialized programs and perform administrative tasks aligned with city schedules and policies.

This role supports education of leisure activities, promotes health concepts, and improves quality of life, contributing to department goals and city values.

Job description

Under general supervision, the Lark Recreation Supervisor assists in providing a diversified, comprehensive recreation program for youth and adults throughout the City of McAllen, promoting education of present trends in lifetime leisure activities, sound health concepts, a better environment and quality of life. This involves assisting in the planning, developing, implementing and administering of specialized programs for youth and adults. This position performs administrative tasks in keeping with city's schedules, policies and employment requirements.
