Job summary

Diagnostic Network, Inc. is seeking a diagnostics expert to help meet exploding demand for upgrade features. This is a ground floor opportunity with the option to work from your homebase.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, experience in electronic design and firmware for automotive control systems, and familiarity with OBD, SAE/J1979, ISO standards, and diagnostic scanners. You'll decode raw bus data and build DBC files to deliver human-friendly insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required.
• Experience in electronic design and firmware for automotive control systems.
• Familiarity with OBD, ISO SAE diagnostic standards and scanners.

Responsibilities

• Decode raw bus data to extract information and convert to human readable formats.
• Build DBC database files for diagnostic use.
• Understand complete DTC code decoding and vehicle mechanical issues.
• Work with ShopKey, Mitchell, Snap-on or OEM scanners as applicable.

Familiar with Shopkey (Mitchell) and Snap-on or OEM diagnostic scanners
