Large Loss Property Field Claims Adjuster (Minneapolis, MN)

Apply now for the role of Large Loss Property Field Claims Adjuster in Minneapolis, MN. This is a primarily home-based position where you'll investigate and settle highly complex property claims, working both remotely and in the field.

Position Details:

  • Location: Minneapolis, MN (preferably in or around south, west, or north Minneapolis)
  • Type: Full-time, remote with occasional travel
  • Salary Range: $86,000 - $142,000 (may vary based on location and experience)
  • Travel: Up to 10%, with up to 75% during catastrophes

Responsibilities:

  1. Investigate high exposure claims, contact relevant parties, and check for prior claims and environmental exposures.
  2. Participate in High Damage Reviews to address coverage and exposure issues.
  3. Handle both 1st and 3rd party claims across multiple policy types.
  4. Conduct on-site inspections, evaluate damages, and negotiate claims.
  5. Respond to customer inquiries, interpret policies, and make independent decisions.
  6. Mentor less experienced adjusters and provide expert guidance.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience handling field property claims, especially over $50,000.
  • Advanced Xactimate skills.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to handle physical and environmental challenges associated with field work.
