Large Loss Property Desk Adjuster -Senior Consultant II is responsible for investigating and confirming the facts of loss for homeowners claims. We are seeking a Large Loss Property Desk Adjuster -Senior Consultant II(MST/PST Hours) who is responsible for investigating and confirming the facts of loss for homeowners claims. The role determines coverage, damages and otherwise adjusts and negotiates claims within limit of authority. The position works independently, prioritizing own responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Handles investigation regarding all aspects of homeowners first party claims (coverage, damages and subrogation) with the exercise of discretion and independence within increased level of authority
• Applies increased experience or a rotation into a specialty position (coverage, investigation specialist, litigation, large loss, water mitigation, desk review)
• For claims involving fraud or subrogation, partners with assigned representatives from those areas to achieve best outcome
• Recognizes and identifies key components of residential construction and repair, including structural integrity and home systems
• Identifies customer needs and works to meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills
• Determines subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle
• Demonstrates broad understanding of insurance policies written by the company, the industry, and organizational relationships within the company and department

Sign On Bonus: You may be eligible for a $1,000 Licensing Sign on Bonus if you have the applicable active licenses needed for this role. This could include Home Resident Property & Casualty License, Designated Home State (DHS) Florida or Texas License, and/or applicable Appraiser License.

As a requirement of employment, individuals who currently hold an active insurance license must terminate all existing appointments prior to onboarding and must not hold any outside appointments at any point during employment. Applicants seeking an adjuster role who also hold a resident producer license must formally surrender that license when instructed to by the licensing team. Compensation

Base compensation offered for this role is:
Inside Desk Adjuster Sr Cons II (Non-Exempt): $41.49 - $50.77
Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e. commission, bonus, etc.) if applicable for the role.
