Digital Room is hiring an experienced Large Format Printing Machine Operator for the 3rd shift at our Arlington, TX facility. You will set up, operate, and maintain wide-format printing equipment to produce banners, signs, and other graphics.

The role requires at least 1 year of large-format printing experience, proficient English communication, and a customer-service mindset. Competitive pay up to $19/hour, with full-time hours and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate large-format printing equipment per job specs.

• Replenish inks and monitor colors during production.
• Produce printed signage, banners, decals, and related products.
• Monitor color consistency, image clarity, alignment, and quality.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and report to management.
• Access production orders in the company system.
• Perform post-print finishing and finalize orders for distribution.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work area.

Job description

We are actively hiring an experienced Large Format Printing Machine Operator for the 3rd shift at our production facility in Arlington, TX.

Pay: Up to $19/hour

Shift: 9:30 PM - 6:00 AM, Monday - Friday

Duties And Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust large-format (wide-format, grand-format, and super-wide-format) printing equipment.
• Review production orders and configure printing equipment according to job specifications, dimensions, and material requirements.
• Prepare, position, and remove printing substrates on production equipment, including vinyl, banner material, adhesive-backed materials, fabric, corrugated plastic, PVC board, styrene, foam board, and other specialty printing materials.
• Replenish printer inks, verify correct ink colors, and monitor ink levels during production.
• Produce printed products and graphics for vinyl banners, yard signs, retractable banners, posters, window decals and clings, step-and-repeat backdrops, car magnets, A-frame signs, and other custom signage and printed products.
• Monitor printing operations for color consistency, image clarity, alignment, and printing defects, making adjustments as needed.
• Report equipment or material issues to management and perform routine troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Access production orders and update job information using the company's computer system.
• Perform post-print finishing and final production tasks to ensure each order is completed and ready for distribution.
• Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Must be proactive with completing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience operating large-format printing equipment (wide-format, grand-format, super-wide-format, or wide-format digital printing), including sign and graphics printing.
• Experience setting up, operating, and adjusting production equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with management and team members.
• Must be customer service oriented.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use production equipment safely.
• Ability to follow instructions, work with minimal supervision, and complete assigned tasks.

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift up to 50lbs (50% of time)
• Able to stand for 8 hours
• Walking and moving around work-area (50% of time)
