Qualifications

• Two (2) years of recent experience in the operation of an offset machine and/or high-speed digital production printer in a reprographic or production center environment.
• Valid California Driver’s License at time of appointment

Responsibilities

• Operates, sets up and adjusts bindery and finishing equipment to produce manuals, booklets, brochures and other printed materials.
• Operates high speed digital copiers; uses Fiery/Creo print drivers to set up and output jobs.
• Operates spiral binding equipment and binds books or forms.
• Operates wide-format printers and scans originals.
• Performs routine calibrations and maintenance; keeps work areas clean.
• Handles material and project pickup and deliveries.
• Generates production reports via the work order system.
• Sorts, packs, mails and distributes printed materials; routes incoming and finished projects.
• Follows safety procedures and reports hazards.
• Operates large format printing, laminating, mounting, cutting equipment.
