Role Description

The Large Format Press Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Doral, FL. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining large format printing equipment, setting up jobs according to specifications, and monitoring production to ensure accurate color, registration, and overall print quality. Day-to-day tasks include preparing materials, performing pre-press checks, loading and adjusting media, conducting routine equipment inspections, and resolving basic technical issues to minimize downtime. The Large Format Press Operator collaborates with the production team to meet deadlines, follows safety and housekeeping procedures, and maintains detailed records of jobs and equipment performance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in Machine Operation, including set-up, calibration, and safe use of large format presses.
• Experience with Printing processes, including large format production, media handling, and color management.
• Strong Quality Control focus, with the ability to inspect, measure, and verify output against job specifications.
• Ability to perform Troubleshooting on printing equipment and workflows to resolve common mechanical or software issues.
• Attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple production jobs.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with print-related software or RIP systems are beneficial.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle materials associated with large format printing.
• Previous experience in a print shop or large format environment preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
