Job summary

New Graphics, Inc. is seeking a Graphics Production Assistant to support finishing, trimming, quality-checking, and packing custom graphics for clients in North Texas. You’ll work closely with printed materials in a fast-paced shop environment.

Entry-level candidates with strong hand-tool aptitude and attention to detail are encouraged to apply, as training is provided. The role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with opportunities to learn vinyl prep and shop operations.

Qualifications

• No prior print shop experience required for entry-level candidates with strong hand-tool aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
• Willingness to learn finishing, trimming, and packing processes.
• Basic knowledge of large format graphics production is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Finishing & Trimming: Precisely trim and finish wall murals, window films, print-and-cut graphics, and rigid substrates using utility knives, straight edges, and cutting tables.
• Vinyl Prep: Weed excess vinyl from cut jobs, apply transfer tape/masking, and prep RTA (Ready-To-Apply) graphics for installation or shipping.
• Quality Assurance & Packing: Inspect finished products for color, defects, or media damage; carefully pack and label completed orders for shipping or customer pickup.
• Shop Operations: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by sweeping, clearing cut tables, and managing scrap materials.
• Shop & Inventory Support: Assist with inventory and weekly shop maintenance tasks as needed.

The Role

At New Graphics, Inc., we produce and install premium vinyl graphics, interior/exterior signage, and architectural wall murals across North Texas. As a Graphics Production Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our finishing and fulfillment department. You'll work directly with our printed materials to trim, finish, quality-check, and pack custom graphics for clients.

No prior print shop experience is strictly required for entry-level candidates with strong hand-tool aptitude and attention to detail—we are happy to train the right person.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM (no weekends)

What You'll Do

• Finishing & Trimming: Precisely trim and finish wall murals, window films, print-and-cut graphics, and rigid substrates using utility knives, straight edges, and cutting tables.

What We're Looking For

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Aptitude with hand-tools, including utility knives and straight edges.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic knowledge of large format graphics production or sign shop processes is a plus.
