Summary

The RedBuilt manufacturing plant in Stayton, OR, produces engineered wood trusses, prefabricated wall panels, and structural steel frames and assembles job packages for delivery.

We are looking for a full-time Forklift Driver for the Day Shift, Monday through Friday, 6 pm to 2:30 pm, with occasional weekends. Previous forklift/lift truck training and proficiency REQUIRED.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (Minimum Qualifications)

• Be safety conscious and motivated to exceed in department safety goals
• Forklift trained and proficient (Preferred Large Diesel H150/H155/H165)
• Develop a basic knowledge of the product yard with organizational skills to maintain applicable product yard maps
• Develop a basic knowledge of all RedBuilt products.
• Able to work in stressful situations and inclement weather conditions, while maintaining composure and safe work practices.
• Self-motivated, organized, and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn all aspects of forklift operations for the plant.
• Must be flexible to work daily overtime, including the occasional weekend, if necessary.
• Be a team player to help achieve department production goals.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• High School Diploma or GED (not required, but a plus!)
  
  

Physical Demands/Work Environment

• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to frequently walk, sit, and/or stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to safely climb on and off lift truck/forklift
• Ability to occasionally bend, squat and/or stoop.
• Manual and finger dexterity as required to perform daily job duties.
• Frequently works near or around moving mechanical parts.
• Exposed to a high level of noise in the work environment.
• Exposed to airborne particles.
• Work environment Wood processing, manufacturing operation.
• Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions, including variations in temperature and precipitation.
