Job summary

A leading manufacturing company is seeking a Machinist for Large CNC Vertical Lathes in Summerville, SC. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of CNC machining experience, specifically with vertical lathes, and must demonstrate strong skills in blueprint interpretation and quality assurance. This position offers a competitive pay range of $25.38 to $36.63 per hour along with an array of benefits including paid time off and a 401K plan. Applicants must be US citizens and able to maintain security clearances.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in CNC machines operating vertical lathes.
• Ability to measure and test completed units for defects.
• Candidates must be US citizens and able to obtain DoD Security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate large vertical turret lathes for precision machining.
• Select appropriate tooling and maintain machines.
• Document production and inspection results accurately.
