Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with horses, cattle, or large animals preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with students, clinicians, staff, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians, technicians, and students with examinations, treatments, diagnostics, and procedures.
• Safely handle and restrain large animals (horses, cattle, small ruminants, porcine).
• Prepare animals for examinations and transport; maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Provide daily husbandry care and monitor patient condition.
• Support teaching hospital operations and student learning.
• Maintain organization of clinical areas and restock supplies as needed.
