Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of related experience.
• Large Animal Handling and Equine Handling skills required.
• Computer proficiency and Electronic Medical Records experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality nursing care to internal medicine, general diagnostics and surgery service patients.
• Assist with daily patient management, admissions and discharges.
• Support clinicians and students; supervise rotations for fourth-year students.
• Set up and use diagnostic and monitoring equipment; assist with endoscopy and radiology.
• Restock treatment areas and maintain biosecurity and cleanliness.
